#LasalliaPustulta on Dartmoor. A beautiful roset like lichen. Very brittle and dry as there has been no rain recently. Final image is a microscope image of the fruiting bodies. Lucy and I both find great joy in small things.
Velvet shanks, Flammulina velutipes. One of the few mushrooms that can withstand snow, growing on a lime tree. Can be misidentified with another one that will kill you. The spore print helps with ID, white spores on black paper. #velvetshank #Flammulina velutipes #fungi #sporeprint #limetree
